About Ms. Low Peck Kem

As the Chief HR Officer and Advisor (Workforce Development) for the Public Service Division (PSD), Prime Minister’s Office of Singapore, Peck Kem is responsible for professionalising HR in the public sector of 16 Ministries and more than 50 Statutory Boards.

Prior to her current appointment at the PSD, she was the Senior Director for HR & OD for a not for profit organisation, The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) based in Geneva, where she was responsible for human resource, organisation development, legal, internal audit and corporate administration for its 15 global offices.

After being in the corporate world for over a decade and having come across the stories of other like-minded career driven women around her, Khatija gained a deep understanding of the challenges faced by women who strive to balance their professional aspirations with life. She is now on a mission to drive structural changes and build better, equitable and inclusive workplaces for women to close the gender gap in leadership positions and empower more women to make informed choices about their careers.

In 2022, Khatija founded Moxy which is the first ever platform in Asia that makes it easy for women to openly evaluate their employers and rate how female-friendly their workplace cultures and environments are.
